Imo it's different for everyone, for me IP2 were the people that were to edgy for IP1 & got banned for petty/zero offence so they moved to other subreddits that were created by people with more lax censorship. Then IP1 was banned from reddit so everyone that wanted to be apart of the community joined IP2, eventually we were banned from reddit so we bounced around from saidit to ruqqus & finally to the .win network which is current day IP2.

Then the YOFA (Baked Alaska) nation attacked..... We were always a satire community that never really had a serious political stance, but once his fiends joined our community it basically became the new stormfront...... Then super oldstrags were getting their posts removed or banned for not following the mods agenda(promote YOBA in a good light) & so the community repeated the cycle & started a new community (Shithole)

Aaaand then Bjorn_the_Black(Exactly same job as you but he was a power hungry loser) attacked & we lost all our momentum we had and a lot of users were banned(By bjorn) due to a publicly available picture being classed as a full dox, sooo we repeated the cycle & highjacked your community.

TL;DR The reason I have animosity towards ip2 & shithole is because of overzealous moderation, Granted I have never been victim to any censorship(I have zero clue why) I could not post on a community that was legit not funny communist china when it came to free speech.
