Fireshit wont play mp4 videos recorded with Chromes MediaRecorder API, only in embeded videos on the page and not when you go directly to the file. Only plays Chromes webm. Should I make webm the default format for the clipper?

Yea I seen that. Clipped it with chrome and firefox is dogshit with the built in video player. Needa look into it more and figure out why Chrome is saving it as a "video/x-matroska" mimeType

Are you talking about the duration of the videos? That was one of the things I already fixed. I used https://github.com/legokichi/ts-ebml.

The browser doesn't save the duration to the videos metadata headers for some reason, so you have to put it in yourself.

Without that in the metadata, VLC player doesn't know how long the video is and gets scuffed.
