I knew this was coming the moment the didn't join the board. As a Tesla shareholder I don't like it, because then there will be regulatory issues every time he uses it for TSLA. There are already, but there will be some added ones. Still wouldn't touch Twitter stock with a 10 foot pole, I would need another major crash to get it this one.

The biggest change however would be that the company would go private, allowing more flexibility and requiring less accountability. Plus we would expect to see the changes Musk outlined over the weekend including allowing users to pay with DOGECOIN and cutting the price of the Twitter Blue premium service.

Years ago there was a meme on /biz/ where op would post a pic of Musk and say "You have 10 seconds to explain to me why you arent investing in this man". during those times Tesla stock was like $250-300 and the stock ended up splitting twice since. never invested, one of my many missed financial opportunities

some employees are already leaving for that reason and will certainly try stir protests to get rid of him. it will become a lot of headache for him on the long ride and if alt right or right wing people start to oversimping and praising him too much then it will attracted the loony cancel folk from the left side and even make it more difficult for him but if that does not happen then it will be fine. i think otherwise you will get the gay left vs right script again and paint Elon as the new hitler/Trump figure
