Bitcoin being down almost 60% year to date really isn't a surprise. It's just slightly more than average loses in the stock market this year. I'm down around 50% this year, but my money is spread out. I would love to advise you to hold on to your positions, but I still feel like crypto is basically a Marcy buck.

I'm getting slaughtered, but my investment money really doesn't have an expiration date. Amazon will be here when this is all over. Tesla will be here when it's all over. For example. Will Crypto? That's the question you have to ask yourself. There is no excitement in the markets or the crypto world. Retail is holding cash. It should come back.

I think we're in for a long term bear phase, and with the US heading towards a recession, there's a lot more pain to come. Granted there's still decent money to be made even in a bear market, just have to play it smart.

We are getting hit from every direction. I'm way more worried about China than Russia at this point. China is about to make a huge power move soon and where do we get all our shit from? But I blame the Unions at our ports for the supply chain problem. There should be trucks lined up for miles waiting 9 hours for a load. They need to fix that. There are ships just posting up for weeks at sea, It's ugly as fuck out there. But at least our kindergarten students understand what a chick with a dick is. The world is totally fucked.

crypto is the future. a cashless society is exactly what the jews want. 99% of the current cryptos will be obsolete, but if you get in on the right ones the pay off will be huge.

QNT, LINK, BTC, XMR are my bets

I respect your opinion, but If you guys haven't figured it out, I'm a little older than most of you guys. I'm not sold on this crypto stuff just yet. I'm experienced in Fundamental trading. I do understand technical trading I will use it once in a while, and I feel like Crypto is all about price action and technical analysis, Because the future isn't what I would feel comfortable calling fundamentals. Plus with stocks there is a premarket (that's why I'm always here at the crack of dawn) and aftermarket. I don't want to lose 10% of my money at 1am on a Saturday night lol.

putin is going to close the gas chamber because eu BIPOCs won't pay in rubbles. The Netherlands can keep up with gas storage for a maximum of 1 year, after that it will become choatic because they still havent figure out what to do. will such a scenario make a difference in the crypto market?

thats a fact and in 5 years I have seen my country change and develop to do less transactions with cash (to reduce robberies too btw) but the boomers are is still not ready for crypto they even have trouble with banking apps or using debit card while doing groceries. that's why i don't think crypto is going to be a thing until the old farts die out

whats a good site/app to buy stocks? betting on football isn't really a good investment for me anymore lol but im a total noob when it comes to the trading market. looking for long-term investment at new sustainable companies and farmers in the netherlands are made impossible to do their work because CO2 emissions. so maybe gonna look at that trend and also invest in it and if I get some gains I will of course invest that back on betting

You're best bet is to look for something in your own country, I'm not sure how international things work to be honest. For someone like yourself though, and thinking long term in the US we have it, if you do. You want a place that will sell you fractional shares, say you only have $100 that week or month you can buy a piece of a share. Don't trade as a noob in this market.

Outside of my retirement account with Vanguard, i dont touch stocks and all my favorite cryptos are on coinbase at this point. Youll get better advice from @obese and mrlee. I agree with what @MrLee said about us heading into a bear market though and i personally believe it will be a global depression.

In a bull market literally anyone can make money. That was proven by all the BIPOCs on twitter profiting on stocks, but bear markets are more difficult because instead of the assets consistently going up, they are consistently going down. one wrong move and you are fucked sideways.

My plan is to just buy in cheap and hold until the next bull market.

i really need to dive into this shit a lot more and learn stuff, I had to open a foreign bank account in turkey because a apartment complex I bought was going to be demolished and the state offered me money 10k or an apartment worth 30k so i took the later one but you have to pay 20k on top but I hope the value of the apartment complex will go up in a few years. the interest for lira is high and i was thinking to put money in the bank and put interest on it for a few years but i don't trust that country at all. some friends and acquaintances of mine buy gold every month (not really useful if you don't buy gold if the value keeps going up and not when it is low) but we are with 6 guys and each pay 1800 per month and then the regular person goes to a place to buy the gold and each month the guy whose turn it is gets the gold while we all pay for it thats how we rotate between the 6 of us and I have been doing that for a few years now and have built up a good investment with gold but with gold or other precious stones you get the worry that someone is going to break into your house or it is difficult to hide and the state safes cant be trusted either because they say if something happens they are not responsible for your belongings

Everything i know, which is not much, I learned from memes on /biz/. Check out their stock market general (/smg/) or precious metals general (/pmg/) and basically just try to learn from other peoples mistakes. Ive been disappointed by the performance of precious metals these past few years, but its so ridiculously manipulated and silver is so important to electric vehicles and green energy bullshit that i think at some point our day will come.

Rn I just use Etoro for stocks, as for crypto I use Binance. Etoro is kind of shitty tho if you can get Fidelity where you are, I'd get it because it has way more options compared to Etoro.
