Julia a computing language I recently got introduced to seems really good for scientific computing, linear algebra(computations that are level 3 or above) and machine learning seems pretty cool.

By chance I met a recent data science grad who knew the matrix computation book i was reading and he informed me about it.

if you really want to learn scientific computing learn quantum physics

The pre-reqs to truly understanding the theoretical basis for quantum physics requires: pde's, linear algebra, complex analysis, numerical analysis, probability theory and basic maths. I have a most down, just need to refine my understanding of partial differential equations and study probability theory in greater detail.
