yeah that one from 2017. i started it back then as it was airing, i was so excited for it and i even bought the secret history of twin peaks book right before the show was released, but so much was going on in my life i couldn't really get into anything and never made it past the 5th episode. but it was fucking gnarly, i loved it so much. even more than the original series, although maybe not as much as fire walk with me. i'm about to immediately start watching it again lol. i loved how we finally got to get into the supernatural side of things more. the end nearly killed me. "what year is it?" poor coop!!! i wish they ended judy once and for all and coop was able to make it back but i feel it was more of self-sacrifice and i doubt he could. laura/carrie page definitely couldn't, she'd still be dead or at least missing in the original timeline. this song was a great parallel to the show, you can't change the past essentially. so many paradoxes and it's all open to interpretation, which is what i love about a lot of lynch's work and this series did a great job building a narrative while ultimately leaving it ambiguous. are you a big fan of twin peaks?
