A lot of her followers noticed the look of worry on her face and started speculating about what could have happened. Her followers were anxious and asked her about her well-being. Soon after, Seum posted an explanation on Twitter, revealing that she and her family had been evicted from their home.
"My pride has stopped me from ever asking for help, but today during [the] stream, my family and I were evicted from our home. We have nowhere to go, and I am asking for any kind of help… I am so embarrassed and absolutely lost…," she captioned her post, accompanied by a Gofundme link.
Seum also explained that they’ve been getting help from Rental Assistance to pay back the rent they owed for 2021, but they ran out of funding and left her family ‘without options.’

In a subsequent tweet, she said, "Just called our leasing office and they said there’s no way for us to move back in, even if we pay what we owe. Idk where to go. We’re in contact with the VA to try and get transitional housing but yeah… I just need a home for my family…"
The streamer said that the eviction notice came out of nowhere. According to her, none of her family members expected them to be forced out of their home.
Seum said that the sheriffs turned up to their home and told them to “grab their things and leave,” although they didn’t receive the 3-day notice they were told they would get.
Amidst all this, she said she was on the way to TwitchCon in San Diego, as her trip had been paid for and she had to fulfill contracts to work at the event.
