Same thing with AMC today, consolidated due to earnings for the quarter being released in the after hours, shit dropped as far as 14% in AH and now it's sitting around the -4% area. Granted I have 20 shares in that shit @$24, just a little side stock I played.
Might be a little pullback next week, but I believe that there's still a lot of upside with the stock that will push it up. They announced a dividend too where for each share you get a unit of APE, which is more of a meme than anything, but I guess getting something is okay lol.
I took a bath buying puts because I starting betting against Wallstreet bets. And I didn't pull the trigger on gamestop, I tried to get it for $11.00, my estimate at the time was the company was worth $15-$16 bucks I ended up writing cash secured puts for 1000 (10 contracts) and shares and it stayed just over $12. So I collected a few hundred bucks in premium. And like a week later shit took off like a rocket and I refused to get involved in the hype, its so easy to end up a bag holder on these things. I'll always remember how I fucked that one up.
I saw GME around $12-$15 and thought I missed the pump and didn't pull the trigger. This market under Biden is just crazy and I've only been reinvesting dividends.
I have a bit in GME actually have 112 @$46, which is a fair bit off to where it is rn (bagholding). Hoping I can break even on that shit but we'll see. Actually was thinking about putting some money in BBBY, but I'm waiting to see a pullback next week and will put some in if it gets into the low $5 range.
I bought all my shares between 60 and 100 a share. I know this company like the back of my hand. I was buying when people were telling me it was a scam. I have been on this rollercoaster for years. But thank you.
Thanks, I have plenty of wiggle room on this stock, so I honestly try not to watch it but I do. I have a thousand shares, if it splits I will have 3k shares. I hope it splits because at the moment. I can lose 20-30k or make about the same in a day. There was a time I was making 5-6 percent a day. I'm hoping the new shares will stop this major volatility and it will trade like a "normal" stock. These swings can be gut wrenching. I'm probably never going to cash out. That's for my wife when I die. I will never get another opportunity like this in my life time.
