I've heard a lot about trading simulators that start you off with imaginary money/crypto to practice trading. Im undecided if they are truly a useful venture. Any thoughts?

I know the one i tried when i first got into investing had that virtual trading option, i learned quite abit but i wasnt great at the day shit because who has the time and i didnt really like the platform that much so i didnt put my actual cash into it. I forget the name now but it was a pretty popular app at the time i think. (edit: oh also im pretty sure Webull has that option if you dont want to give them your actually cash because theyre sketchy. They do have a virtual thing as far as i remember, its called "paper trading" i think)
