Just remember, I assume you're American? I have no idea how it works if you are Canadian. But if you buy and sell a stock in the same year, it will be taxed as normal income. And options are taxed a little higher than stocks. But if you buy a leap that is one or two years from now and hold it until the year is up, that is at a lower tax rate. I don't really get involved with that, my wife just prints out our statements and the accountant does it. I do way to many transactions per year to risk doing that shit myself, I would be like nah you don't get taxed on Dono's

Depending on your tax bracket that's a righteous 15 cents net profit. Better than I did this week.
