I feel bad for the people that purchased their stocks on margin (a loan from their broker) I'm not worried long term, BUT short term will be a mess. But believe me, it's hard to find any people that did well this year. Everything is virtually worthless right now. Crypto, Cash, Stocks, everything is in the shitter. No hiding out from this one.
Yep this year was dogshit for crypto and stocks. My worry is with a impending recession (even though I believe we're already in one), 2023 will be more of the same, if not worse.
We are totally in a recession. Booming markets don't last forever, neither does really bad markets. I look at it this way. If I go broke, that would mean everyone else is broke. Therefore none of us are broke. I'm ready to weather the storm, I feel bad for those that wont be able to. Wait until the housing market crashes that's where most people sink their money because you know the "American dream" My hope, we see signs of live 1/2 way through next year, and back to normal a few years from now. I think it was Spanish flu that happened right before the great depression. Covid was the beginning of our generation.
If you look at this logically, if things can drop the way they are dropping, they can also rise back up in that same time frame. But there is an only saying. Stocks take the elevator down, and the stairs back up.

Yeah man, my fractionals have dropped about a dollar. I went and tried to buy another stock though, just to take advantage of the drop
