It's safe for the most part. You probably crack parts of your own body, or they crack when you move. Interesting fact. The human body wont allow you to snap your own neck to the point of killing yourself. I'm not sure what it's called but your brain will stop your hand before you go to far.

interesting... Yeah i try not to crack my back and stuff I use to alot back when I was going to school because those desks were perfect all you would have to do was push your back up against the backside of the chair and it would just crack all the way down ur spine

I actually know what you are talking about, I did the same thing in school. I can pop a lot of my bones. I even do my knee caps. and ankles. The problem with that, once you get that feeling you will be doing it for the rest of your life because they will tighten up and some times hurt until you relieve them again. And when they don't want to pop, and that happens. It's like having arthritis in that joint until it happens. The only thing I stay away from unless it happens on its own are the hips. You fuck up one or both of your hips you are really fucked.
