i hate obs tbh, it's the farthest thing from user-friendly for me. i really don't understand it and it seems so convoluted to use when all i need is to quickly take a 10 second clip
Takes some tinkering, but you'll get it. Capture audio, capture video, size it to what you want to capture, hit record/stop. Should end up in your videos folder by default I thinks.

Use OBS you can add the watermark as a source and it’ll always be there, you could also add chat to OBS for clips.
I’ve also used ActivePresenter in the past, it has a screen recorder and editor that will let you add a watermark.
