I grew some sunflowers. Im a bit disappointed because they were supposed to grow like 12ft tall but instead maxed out at about 6ft tall. I never fertilized them or anything though, just planted the seed and watered everyday.

They attract a lot of weird bugs, which is cool and scary at the same time. But now that they bloomed i kinda dgaf anymore and want to let them die

There is a house by me that grows them. I would say they are about 9 or 10 feet because they droop over his fence. They are impressive in size. But not as pretty as they look in online photos. He probably lets them grow over and outside his yard for the bugs you are talking about.

Yeah the big flower is pretty, but aside from that their height makes them kinda akward. I shouldve grown watermelon instead, id be feasting right now

All I know about watermelon is you need a ton of space for them. I have a blueberry bush, that's the only fruit I grow. There are so many birds where I live I don't see it working out well for me.
