There arent many things i actually detest. People who drive plastered is one of them. Ive drank a beer or two and drove from the bar, gone atving etc, but fuck people who are blackout drunk and go driving
I got so lucky when i was young drunk driving.. grew up in a small town. Friends and i would throw bonfire in middle of the hills on weekends since we were all around 17-19 years old and needed a place to drink and smoke bud. One night we were doing a caravan of like 4 cars to del taco and i was the last in the line. Cops decided i did a 'California stop' rolling through a stop sign without fully stopping. Got pulled over and had 25% of a JD bottle a quarter of weed and maybe some Xanax and like 4 bongs in my truck just all chilling on the back seat. Cop shines his lights in the back does his normal routine. Told me go straight home, my friends had all instantly took off soon as i got pulled over. Luckily i was like 1 street over from my house and made it. Never drove drunk again my entire life
I learned my lesson back when used to get wasted and went out atving or dirtbiking. Id do some pills or drink and smoke a shit load, i was young and had basically no tolerance. We would go and do stupid shit, take some trails we probably wouldnt, maybe even do some drunk chainsawing. Fly back up the road pedal to the metal because damn dude we just went down here we know this road, boom hikers. Had a friend kill someone just out for a hike with their dog, just off a forest road. Made me take a mental step back. In my opinion if you want to get wasted and endanger yourself thats fine who cares, but no one else should be killed by your fuck up, Saw a family lose their son for a good while, and i didnt even meet the other family of the guy who was hit. Meanwhile blade plastered on public roads. Im all for content but this aint it ayo.

I did the same shit on my quad. We go to the dunes and we used to ride one end drink 10 beers and ride to the other drink 10 more. Ate shit once and my hip still hurts to this day. Never again
I still to this day will go drinking and fuck off on an atv up a trail, but i think the difference is now im not a total degenerate about it. I know when im even slightly too drunk to be on an atv, almost all of the trails we are on are so slow going that you couldnt accidentally hit someone, it would be like the scene from the one austin powers movie with the steamroller. If i fuck up, and flip or some shit, thats on me. Its all about acceptable risks lol
