real emo hours!!! what bands were you listening to? i made this playlist of all my probably cringey teenage emo favorites. i still add songs to it when i come across a good one.
City and Colour (Dallas Green) is my all time favorite musician. I also like La Dispute, Brand New, and From Forst to last from that playlist.
Tonight i was listening to Movements, Dear and the Headlights, The get up Kids, and the wonder years but theyre not really emo. Now my playlist is playing Alice in Chains and the Chili Peppers so ive kinda drifted away from it
yeah the first group of bands i obviously dig, peak middle school and early high school emo tumblr days for me kek. i actually met sonny from from first to last when he played a show here in 2009, he wasn't skrillex yet but he was doing his solo shit. i have the shirt he signed as sonny stored in a ziploc bag for safekeeping lol.
the second group of bands i'm not familiar with at all tbh. don't really like any of the chili peppers stuff that i've heard, all sounds the same. maybe it's just the singles idk.
