All resolved, sorry for the issues. I did a routine update of the software dependencies for the site, and one of them changed URL routing behavior, breaking new comments.
Specifically:
/comments/and/commentsbecame treated the same, though one is how comments get made internally and one is the "All Comments" listing.Browsers are retarded and were trying to post to the... all comments listing.
